Scorcher Fest

Hello to all of you out there in internet land!

I’ve just come back from playing a few songs at the Darebin Music Feast in Northcote. Great day with some great music. Outside there was one point where about 30 or 40 uke players performed a version of the They Might Be Giants’ classic, Istanbul (Not Constantinople). In the room where the Darebin Songwriters Guild held our showcase, we were treated to some amazing talent. It feels great to be associated with such a high calibre of songwriting. I may have a song or two that I’ll post to youtube…we’ll see what the quality of the recording is like first!

Coming up, in late November, I’ll be playing a set at Scorcher Fest. This will be held at Bar 303 on High Street in Northcote on the last Sunday in November. You can get tickets for a limited time. They’re only $30 for a double pass here.

If you would like to score a free double pass, tell me why you should receive one. You can either leave a comment here on this post, post to facebook, tweet or email me. Damn, if you have my phone number, you can text me! Limited numbers though so be quick!

That’s it for now…See you at Scorcher!
