Cameron Twomey is currently an acoustic troubadour hailing from Melbourne, Australia. He draws on many influences including (but not limited to) Elbow, Low and Neil Young.

Cameron was instrumental in forming Melbourne based heavy rock/metal band Narcosis back in the 90’s.  That band built a dedicated following in Victoria, Australia back in the days before the internet held sway.  After some 13 years in Narcosis, Cameron began developing an obsession with simpler styles of music and after some time away from any sort of musical performances has once again begun to play live.

From diminished reflective pieces to catchy and accessible tap your feet tunes, there is much ground to cover in a typical set from Cameron.  Much of Cameron’s repertoire revolves around hope in the face of life and his own brand of washed variety tree hugger beliefs.  His music is currently being presented in an acoustic format, but there are plans to develop these songs with further instrumentation in the near future.
